This bill amends the environmental conservation law to provide free lifetime hunting, fishing, trapping, archery, and muzzle-loading licenses for New York state residents who have been honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces, have a qualifying condition and received a discharge other than bad conduct or dishonorable, or are discharged LGBT veterans with a 40% or greater service-connected disability. The bill also reduces the fee for a lifetime license for these eligible veterans from $765 to $0.
