This bill amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to further provide for an affordable housing programs fee in counties, establish reporting requirements for counties collecting the fee, and create the Pennsylvania Affordable Housing Advisory Committee within the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. The bill sets limits on the fee counties can charge, requires counties to submit annual reports on the use of the fee proceeds, and establishes the advisory committee to advise on affordable housing efforts and make recommendations to the state legislature.
