This bill amends Title 38 of the United States Code to prohibit smoking on the premises of any facility of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The bill defines "facility of the Veterans Health Administration" as any land or building under the jurisdiction and control of the VHA, excluding those under the control of the General Services Administration. The term "smoke" includes the use of cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and any other combustion or heating of tobacco, as well as the use of electronic nicotine delivery systems. The bill also repeals a previous law that had allowed for designated smoking areas in VHA facilities.
