This bill requires that communication issued about immunization requirements include information on exemptions, and applies exemptions not only to students seeking to enter school but also to students attending school. It also empowers school administrators to exclude from attendance any student or client for whom they have no or insufficient record of immunization in the event of a vaccine-preventable disease outbreak. Additionally, the bill exempts from the immunization requirements any person whose course registration is limited to correspondence, online, or other courses that do not require in-person campus attendance.
