This bill authorizes the town of Oak Bluffs to prohibit the commercial leasing or rental of mopeds and motor scooters to the public. The town is required to put the question of whether to delete the existing law and replace it with a prohibition on moped and motor scooter rentals to a vote at the next town meeting. If a majority of voters approve, the prohibition will take effect, and existing licenses will remain valid only until their current expiration date.
