This bill amends the Sports Wagering Act in Illinois. The key provisions are: 1. It allows licensed sports betting operators to accept wagers on sports events involving Illinois collegiate teams, as long as the wager is a "tier 1" wager (not related to individual athlete performance) and is made in person rather than over the internet or mobile app. This change removes the previous July 1, 2023 sunset date for this allowance. 2.
