This bill allows physician's private practice offices and urgent care clinics to (1) inquire if new patients aged 18-45 are interested in information on becoming a bone marrow donor and provide that information upon request, and (2) inquire if new patients are interested in information on the organ and tissue donor registry and provide educational materials on making an anatomical gift and how to be placed on the registry upon request. The materials and information can be provided orally or in written/electronic form. The key terms "anatomical gift" and "organ and tissue donor registry" are defined in the existing law being amended.
