This bill amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to require municipalities to keep records of child-care and other dependent care facilities located within their jurisdiction. Beginning in December 2023 and each December thereafter, counties must submit to municipalities a list of these facilities, including their address, telephone number, floor plan, and emergency plan. The bill aims to ensure municipalities have up-to-date information on local child-care and dependent care facilities to better support and oversee their operations.
