This bill proposes to enact sections of the Ohio Revised Code to establish several new entities at state universities. Specifically, it would create the Salmon P. Chase Center for Civics, Culture, and Society at Ohio State University, the Institute of American Constitutional Thought and Leadership at the University of Toledo, and similar centers at the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, and Cleveland State University. The bill also makes an appropriation to support a prenatal-to-five early childhood to post-secondary regional partnerships program administered by the Departments of Education and Workforce and Higher Education. Additionally, the bill provides for a cash transfer from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education Licensure Fund.
