AI Summary
This bill amends the Environmental Conservation Law to authorize the Department of Environmental Conservation to regulate the use of live restraint cable devices to take wildlife, such as coyotes, in New York. The regulations must specify the required components of the devices, including a swivel, relaxing lock, deer stop, and break-away device, and require that the devices be checked at least once every 24 hours.
