This bill: - Increases the per-student charter additional assistance amounts for preschool, kindergarten through 8th grade, and 9th through 12th grade students. - Repeals a section related to the career exploration portal. - Updates the definitions of "average daily membership" and related terms to allow schools more flexibility in meeting instructional time requirements. - Increases the base level funding amounts for school districts. - Increases the transportation support level rates per route mile. - Increases the district additional assistance amounts per student for school districts of various size ranges and for preschool children with disabilities. - Allows dual enrollment students with disabilities to access accommodations and services under their individualized education program or 504 plan. - Establishes new programs and funds, including the Arizona Civics Education and Leadership Development Program, the Early Education and Career Exploration Program, and the Dual Enrollment Teacher Development Fund and Dual Enrollment Student Development Fund. - Allows for expanded enrollment in the Continuing High School and Workforce Training Program. - Establishes requirements and funding for live, remote instructional courses offered by school districts and charter schools. - Provides additional funding and reporting requirements for various education programs and initiatives.
