AN ACT to amend the real property actions and proceedings law, in relation to prohibiting the eviction of tenants for the certified medical use of medical marihuana
AI Summary
This bill prohibits the eviction of tenants for the certified medical use of medical marijuana. It creates a defense for tenants against eviction proceedings based on their certified medical use of marijuana, unless the landlord can show other lawful grounds for seeking to recover possession of the residential unit.
