AN ACT to amend the cannabis law, in relation to certification by pharmacists of patients using medical cannabis

AI Summary

This bill allows pharmacists employed by registered medical cannabis organizations and responsible for supervising the dispensing of medical cannabis to recommend and certify patients to use medical cannabis, provided the pharmacist has completed a two-hour training course and registered with the state office. The bill also removes the requirement that registry identification cards for medical cannabis patients expire after one year, instead allowing the cards to expire on a date specified by the certifying practitioner.
