This bill amends the Real Property Tax Law to require landlords of certain housing accommodations, such as those subject to rent control or rent stabilization, to include with all new and renewal leases, and any written lease modifications, informational material describing eligibility for and the benefits of the senior rent increase exemption program and the disability rent increase exemption program. The landlords must provide this information at least twice annually, and any such information provided as part of a new or renewal lease, or written lease modification, will count towards the requirement for two annual notices.
