This bill creates the 3D Printed Housing Task Force to promote large-scale construction of 3D printed homes in New York State. The task force will consist of 11 members appointed by the governor, state legislature, and the mayor of New York City. The task force will develop recommendations on how the state can promote 3D printed housing through legislation, regulatory environment, government initiatives, and inducements. The task force will issue a report to the governor and legislature by July 1, 2025, outlining state and local initiatives, regulations, and incentives to promote the manufacturing of affordable, sustainable, and safe 3D printed housing while creating and preserving living wage jobs.
