This bill authorizes the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to join the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact, which allows audiologists and speech-language pathologists licensed in their home state to practice in other member states without obtaining additional licenses. The Compact establishes procedures for license portability, disciplinary actions, data sharing, and the creation of an interstate commission to administer the Compact. The bill sets forth the terms and provisions of the Compact, which will become effective once Pennsylvania and nine other states have enacted it into law.
