This bill amends the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to establish the position of Women Farmers and Ranchers Liaison within the Department of Agriculture. The Liaison's duties include providing information and assistance to women farmers and ranchers, advocating on their behalf, promoting their advancement in leadership roles, and reporting on the Department's funding and programs for women-owned agricultural operations. The bill also authorizes the Liaison to enter into contracts or agreements to conduct research, develop educational materials, and provide training and mentorship for women farmers and ranchers. Additionally, the bill amends the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990 to prioritize research and extension grants for the development of ergonomically designed agricultural equipment and machinery for use by women, and the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act to give priority to loan and grant applicants proposing to address the availability, quality, or cost of childcare in agricultural or rural communities.
