This bill requires that information on spending associated with national emergencies be subject to the same reporting requirements as other federal funds under the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006. Specifically, the bill amends the Act to mandate the reporting of the amount of budget authority appropriated, obligated, and unobligated, as well as the accounts and program activities from which the funds are obligated and outlays are made, for each national emergency declared by the President. The bill also directs the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and the Secretary of the Treasury to update the data standards established under the Act to include unique identifiers for federal funds made available or expended with respect to national emergencies.
