This bill directs the Secretary of Defense to establish a standardized training curriculum for military vehicle operations. The curriculum will include both classroom and practical training components, covering topics such as vehicle dynamics, safety procedures, hazard recognition, defensive driving, and vehicle recovery. The bill also requires the Secretary to establish a certification program to validate the proficiency of members of the Armed Forces in military vehicle operations. The training curriculum and certification program must be fully integrated into military training programs within three years of the bill's enactment. The bill also requires the Secretary to use modern training technologies, collect and analyze data on military vehicle incidents, and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the training program in reducing incidents and improving operator proficiency.
