This bill, the Stopping the Fraudulent Sales of Firearms Act, amends the United States Code to make it unlawful for any person to import, manufacture, or sell firearms or ammunition through false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, as well as to transmit any communication relating to such fraudulent activities across state or international borders. The bill also adds a penalty provision to the existing law, subjecting violators to the same punishments as those who violate other firearms-related offenses.
