Specifically, it defines "project delivery method" to include construction management at-risk, design-bid-build with multiple or single prime contractors, and design-build. The bill requires government agencies and state-related institutions to utilize a project delivery method for construction projects exceeding $4,000 in total cost. Additionally, it repeals the Separations Act, which previously had specific requirements for the procurement of construction services, and provides for the continuation of activities initiated under the Separations Act.
