This bill, the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement Act (PRICE Act), establishes a competitive grant program to be administered by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (Secretary). The program will award funds to eligible recipients, which can include manufactured home communities, local governments, resident-owned communities, community development financial institutions, and Indian tribes, to carry out projects that improve the health, safety, and long-term sustainability of eligible manufactured home communities. Eligible projects can include infrastructure, planning, resident and community services, resiliency activities, and replacement of outdated homes. The Secretary is given the authority to waive certain requirements and establish a separate fund to award grants to Indian tribes. The bill also includes definitions for key terms such as "community development financial institution," "eligible manufactured home community," and "low- and moderate-income persons."
