This bill amends Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to establish a food allergy awareness program. The program requires public eating or drinking establishments to designate a manager knowledgeable about food allergies and food preparation, and to require each food employee to review educational materials on food allergy issues provided by the Department of Health. Additionally, the bill requires licensors to include a minimum knowledge of food allergy issues as a condition for licensure under the existing law.
