This bill amends the Robert Levinson Hostage Recovery and Hostage-Taking Accountability Act to provide resources for U.S. nationals who are unlawfully or wrongfully detained abroad. The key provisions include: 1) Providing financial assistance to cover the costs of travel to and from Washington, D.C. for family members or approved individuals to meet with the U.S. government regarding the detainees; 2) Authorizing the Secretary of State to provide physical and mental health services, as well as other support, to the detainees and their family members for up to 5 years after their return to the U.S.; and 3) Requiring the Secretary to notify Congress of any expenditures above $250,000 per fiscal year for these activities and to submit an annual report on the implementation of these provisions.
