This bill repeals the existing managed long-term care provisions for Medicaid recipients and establishes new provisions for fully integrated long-term care plans, including Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP) plans. The bill requires Medicaid recipients who need long-term care services for more than 120 days to receive those services through a fully integrated plan, such as a PACE or MAP plan, or through a fee-for-service based model with services coordinated by a care coordination entity. The bill also makes various other changes related to long-term care options and services for Medicaid recipients.
