This bill revises the schedule for summative evaluations of tenured teachers, principals, assistant principals, and vice-principals. It establishes a new evaluation schedule based on the employee's previous rating, with highly effective ratings resulting in evaluations every three years, effective ratings every two or three years at the supervisor's discretion, and partially effective or ineffective ratings requiring annual evaluations for the next two years. The bill also limits the collection of teacher-generated student growth data to only the years in which the teacher is being evaluated. Additionally, it repeals a section of the previous law and specifies that the bill will take effect immediately and apply starting the first full school year after enactment.
