This bill, the Lactation Spaces for Veteran Moms Act, amends Title 38 of the United States Code to require the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to ensure that each of its medical centers contains a dedicated lactation space. These spaces must be private, accessible to disabled individuals, equipped with a chair and surface, easy to locate, clearly identified, and available for use by women veterans and members of the public to express breast milk. The VA must implement this requirement within two years of the bill's enactment.
