This bill modifies the provisions relating to providing explicit sexual material to a student. It introduces a new section, 67.5127, which states that any library district or school district that employs a person who has been found guilty of the offense of providing explicit sexual material to a student, as defined in section 573.550, shall no longer be eligible to receive any funds raised by the state. The bill also amends section 573.550 to expand the definition of "person affiliated with a public or private elementary or secondary school in an official capacity" to include library board members, and adds "approving" to the list of actions that constitute the offense of providing explicit sexual material to a student.
