The bill also creates a cause of action for the declarant against any person who presents falsified or invalid documents to the peace officer during the removal process. Additionally, the bill specifies that persons removed from the premises on the basis of false statements made in the declaration can sue the declarant for actual damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees.
