This bill aims to improve school safety by extending and increasing penalties for interference by, or intimidation through threats of, force or violence at schools and athletic activities. To address these issues, the bill requires the posting of signage notifying the public of the offenses and possible penalties under existing laws that prohibit interference with school activities and intimidation of school officials.
