This bill amends KRS 150.170 to allow a bona fide resident landowner and other authorized persons to take fish from any lake or pond located on the owner's property without procuring a sport fishing license. The resident landowner can also extend these fishing rights to other individuals in written or electronic form, and the landowner or authorized persons are not subject to any limits or restrictions on creel, possession, size, or method of take for the fish in the landowner's lake or pond. Additionally, the resident landowner is not subject to any state requirements regarding the stocking of lakes or ponds located on their property, except for restrictions on invasive fish.
