This bill amends the existing law in Kentucky to redefine the term "exhibition" and require sanctioning bodies to provide notice to the Boxing and Wrestling Commission of all combat sports exhibitions not covered under the current chapter. Specifically, the bill expands the definition of "exhibition" to include public shows where an admission ticket is required or other charge is made, and that are not sanctioned by certain specified organizations. Additionally, the bill requires sanctioning bodies to provide notice to the commission of all combat sports exhibitions not otherwise covered under this chapter for publication in a calendar of events.
