This bill increases the maximum state funding available for various regional planning commissions in Missouri. Specifically, it doubles the maximum state funding for the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council and the Mid-America Regional Council from $65,000 to $130,000, and increases the maximum state funding for other regional planning commissions from $25,000 to $50,000 per commission. Additionally, the bill requires that the maximum grant allowance for each regional planning commission be adjusted annually based on the rate of inflation according to the consumer price index, starting on July 1, 2025.
