This bill establishes the "Missouri Religious Freedom Protection Act," which prohibits public officials from issuing orders that limit or prohibit religious groups from holding religious services or meetings, or that limit or prohibit places of worship from doing the same. However, these provisions do not apply to religious groups using places of worship to intentionally commit or plan acts of violence or harm, or to temporary emergency evacuation orders due to imminent danger. Additionally, the bill states that the provisions do not exclude places of worship from complying with applicable building and fire codes.
