This bill requires the New York State Commissioner of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) to develop a common application and web portal for businesses and organizations to apply for and manage any state funding, tax credits, loans, or grants for housing development. The common application must be made available upon request from the relevant state agencies, and the web portal must be accessible to these agencies to administer the funding, tax credits, loans, or grants. The bill also requires state agencies to upload relevant information to the web portal to assist businesses and organizations using it. The provisions of this bill apply only to statewide housing development funding, not locally managed funding.
