AN ACT concerning Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard - Eligible Sources - Alterations (Reclaim Renewable Energy Act of 2024) FOR the purpose of altering the definition of “Tier 1 renewable source” for purposes of excluding energy derived from waste and refuse from being eligible for inclusion in the renewable energy portfolio standard; and generally relating to the renewable energy portfolio standard. BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments, Article - Public Utilities Section 7-701(a) Annotated Code of Maryland (2020 Replacement Volume and 2023 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Public Utilities Section 7-701(s) and 7-704(a) Annotated Code of Maryland (2020 Replacement Volume and 2023 Supplement)
