AI Summary

This bill authorizes the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA), a state agency responsible for economic development in Atlantic City, to enter into agreements to finance transportation projects that directly connect the Atlantic City Airport and the Atlantic City Tourism District, which is a designated area within Atlantic City focused on tourism and entertainment. Previously, the CRDA's assets and revenues were primarily dedicated to the tourism district, community development, or enhancing air service and transportation to the airport. This legislation expands the CRDA's authority to specifically fund projects like highways or public transit that improve access between the airport and the tourism district, or to enhance air service and transportation to the airport.
