This bill designates the bridge over Crosswicks Creek on Interstate Highway Route 295 North as the "Benjamin Moore and the 693rd Sapper Company Memorial Highway" to honor Army Specialist Benjamin G. Moore, a Bordentown resident who died in Afghanistan in 2011, and the 693rd Sapper Company, the unit he served with. The Commissioner of Transportation is directed to erect appropriate signs, and importantly, no state or public funds will be used for the signs; instead, private donations will cover the costs of producing, purchasing, erecting, and maintaining them, with the Commissioner authorized to accept such financial assistance from private sources.
