The bill clarifies the roles of a Resource Navigator and the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) in administering the Rental Assistance Navigation Program, established pursuant to P.L.2021, c.313. The bill requires the DCA to develop and conduct a survey of any newly evicted tenant who is willing to participate in a survey. The survey is to be used by the Resource Navigators to assess the circumstances and needs of individuals facing eviction and homelessness.
