This bill creates a new category of eligibility for subsidized child care services specifically for certain child care workers. Additionally, the commissioner must submit a report to the Governor and Legislature within three years of the act's effective date, evaluating the benefit's impact on recruiting and retaining child care workers. The bill will take effect on the first day of the fourth month following its enactment, with the commissioner permitted to take preparatory administrative actions in advance.
