AI Summary
This bill, titled the "Georgia Not on My Deed Act," authorizes clerks of superior courts to require individuals presenting deeds or other real property instruments for recording to provide a government-issued photo identification card. The bill allows clerks to refuse to record such documents if the individual does not comply with the identification requirement, and requires clerks to maintain records of the identification cards, allow individuals to redact certain information, and provide public notice of the identification requirement. The bill also grants the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority the authority to adopt rules and regulations to implement these provisions.
