This bill amends the Mental Health Practice Act to provide requirements for a third provisional mental health practitioner license. Specifically, it allows an individual who holds a second provisional license and has not completed the required 3,000 hours of supervised experience to appeal to the board for a third provisional license for a term of five years. The board may grant the third provisional license upon a demonstration of hardship, such as ongoing medical issues, the inability to secure adequate supervision, or other barriers deemed appropriate by the board. The bill also requires the provisional licensee to provide the board with the names and contact information of all individuals who have supervised them during the first and second provisional licenses.
