This bill updates the name, authority, membership, and duties of the governor's interagency coordinating council on health disparities. The bill renames the council to the governor's council for health justice and equity, expands its membership and responsibilities, and requires the council to create a statewide vision and universal goals for health and well-being as well as policy recommendations to advance health justice and equity in Washington state. The bill also requires the council to submit regular reports to the governor and legislature on its progress.
