This bill prohibits the elimination of any religious exemption to mandatory health injections or inoculations in Rhode Island. The bill also requires that approval of religious exemption requests be liberally granted, and those charged with enforcement must act with strict regard to the constitutionally protected religious rights of the people. Additionally, the bill allows for injunctive, declaratory, and monetary relief for any violations of the law.
