This bill prohibits the purchase and operation of small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) manufactured or assembled by certain foreign entities, including those on the Consolidated Screening List or Entity List, or those domiciled in or under the influence of China or Russia. Public entities in Oklahoma are not allowed to use state funds to purchase or operate these restricted UAS systems, except in certain exigent circumstances or for criminal investigative purposes, as waived by the Office of Management and Enterprise Services. The bill also sets an effective date of November 1, 2024.
