This bill amends the Code of Virginia to increase the maximum number of free fishing days designated by the Board of Wildlife Resources from three to six per calendar year. The bill also provides additional exemptions from the saltwater recreational fishing license requirement, such as for certain American Indian tribe members and members of the armed forces on active duty who are residents of the Commonwealth. The bill further clarifies existing exemptions from hunting, trapping, and fishing license requirements, including for certain landowners, tenants, and minors.
