AI Summary

This bill amends Mississippi law to automatically restore the right to vote for individuals who have been convicted of vote fraud, any crime listed in Section 241 of the Mississippi Constitution, or any crime interpreted as disenfranchising by the Attorney General, once they have satisfied all sentencing requirements of their conviction. The bill removes provisions that previously required the removal of such individuals from voter rolls, and instead requires their automatic re-registration once the sentencing requirements are met. The bill also makes conforming changes to related sections of Mississippi's election laws.
