This bill amends Oklahoma's election laws to modify the hours during which in-person absentee voting is allowed. Specifically, it extends the Saturday voting hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for general elections, primary elections, runoff primary elections, and presidential preferential primary elections. The bill also adds a new provision for in-person absentee voting on the Wednesday immediately preceding a general election, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The bill will become effective on November 1, 2024.
