This bill amends Section 346-53 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to set new limits on the state supplemental payment for certain types of adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, and certified adult foster homes. Specifically, beginning on July 1, 2024, the state supplemental payment for type I adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, and certified adult foster homes will be capped at $1,136, while the state supplemental payment for type II adult residential care homes will be capped at $1,334. The bill also makes some minor changes to the language in the existing law.
