This bill establishes a food and product innovation network within the Agribusiness Development Corporation. The network aims to help businesses in Hawaii capitalize on the "made in Hawaii", "produced in Hawaii", or "processed in Hawaii" brand, create world-class products, and scale up production by providing access to manufacturing equipment and industry expertise. The bill appropriates funds for food and product innovation facilities on the islands of Molokai, Oahu, Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui, as well as funding for staff. The network is required to submit annual reports to the legislature on its activities and progress. The bill takes effect on July 1, 2050.
